Meet the Staff

The staff at PGO includes Sharon Saginaw (CV), a licensed board certified Physician Assistant. After working with Dr. Price for three years in the operating room at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Sharon joined Pittsburgh Gynecologic Oncology full time in December 2004. Sharon graduated from Washington and Jefferson College with a bachelor’s degree in Biology in 1997. Sharon received her Masters’ Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Chatham College.

Sharon began working part time after the birth of her son Ryan in April, 2006. In April, 2008, Sophia arrived. She can be reached through the Contact Us page.

April Garman, PA-C is a licensed, board certified physician assistant who joined the practice in September 2008. After receiving her bachelor's degree in psychology at The Pennsylvania State University in 2001, she returned to Duquesne University where she received her master's of physician assistant in 2008. April enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews and watching Penn State and the Steelers play.

Constance Hallet, R.N.Constance Hallet, or Connie, manages the chemotherapy program. Connie has over 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse taking care of cancer patients. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh. She is also certified as an Oncology Nurse Specialist and is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society. Office manager Bobbie Ragsdale is in charge of logistics for the practice. Bobbie joined the practice in June 2008 after a varied career in medical administration, including 17 years in a urology practice in the eastern suburbs of Pittsburgh. Bobbie is responsible for scheduling, liaison with our insurance and billing providers, and office work flow. Questions can be directed to Bobbie through the Contact Us page.


Karen MahonKaren Mahon joined our staff as part-time medical assistant in October 2005 after many years of working for a Pittsburgh rheumatologist. She sets up appointments, prepares patients for examinations and manages patient flow during office hours.
